About Vlada
Vlada Koroleva-McAree, MA in Linguistics, is a Freelance Russian Tutor. She was born and grew up in Moscow. Vlada is a graduate of Moscow State University, Faculty of Philology (MA in Linguistics, 1990) and Coventry University, School of International Studies and Law (MA in Diplomacy and Politics, 1997).
Before she moved to the UK, Vlada worked as a Lecturer at Moscow State Linguistic University (3 years) and later at Moscow State University (7 years). She has 18 years of language teaching experience both as an academic and a freelance tutor. Vlada worked as a Russian lecturer at Kingston University (Surrey, UK) for 5 years (2000-2005).
Vlada is Principal Tutor of Just Russian in London. She and her colleagues work with a wide range of students at all levels. Among Just Russian’s clients are leading London City firms (professionals in business, economics and law), companies doing business in Russia, private individuals of all ages and different nationalities. Vlada designs and supervises courses of Russian at all levels: from complete beginner to advanced.
Vlada is one of the authors of the “Just English” series of original textbooks (English for Lawyers), which sold over 150.000 copies in Russia and were awarded the Moscow University Shuvalov Prize in 2000. The five original textbooks and course books of this series, originally written for Moscow University students, later proved popular throughout Russia.
